| | This message only appear because you had an empty character (character with no skill at all). To avoid this message, add at least one skill to your character.

| FYI: Anyone using the Tutorial from the Instruction Manual, section 4.3 Creating a Character, step 6, will encounter this same problem. Originally you could save a character with no skills. The software update changed this after the manual was written. As suggested, add one skill to the character (see section 4.4 Skill Entry) and then save it.
Just posting in case anyone encounters this issue while following the Tutorial in the manual.

| | I've realized that no skill character saving was creating several crappy character for no evident reason, from a code perspective every time the Player constructor class was involve a new file was create, many user reporte toons a garbage character save on their hard drive, the last patch was addressing this issue. I'm not sure what would be the best solution for both scenario. Is there really a need for saving character that have no skill ?

| | Zyo, No. There is no good reason for saving a character without skills. The Tutorial in the Instruction Manual saved the character just prior to working with skills because it was a logical stopping point for the section. Saving at that point was also a safeguard from making mistakes for new users. As stated the easiest work-around is simply to save the character after adding one skill. From the perspective of the instructions the only issue now is which skill to save. If Nightfall did not exist I would suggest the Res signet or some other universally available skill. But Nightfall uses a custom version so I'll have to think about it a bit. It might require some kind of conditional instructions.
