I love the export feature of GWFreaks...

It would be great to also be able to go the other way, to inport the ingame templates to GWFreaks (for backup, and to be able to post in game builds to the net etc.)

Maybe I'm not understanding what you are looking for with this "Import" function,

but if you just go to File-->Open-->Character you can select a Template from anywhere on your computer and load it into GWFreaks.

So it seems a simple matter to take a template you've saved in-game load it into GWFreaks and then Export that Template as you see fit using the currently available options.

What I mean is, when in game I make a build and set my attributes. I then press the little disk icon and save it.

It comes up with some template code like: A0MixSsN4cH4CzhqKIRk8PkJA

So, I think it would be great to be able to press a button that loads all the in game templates and saves them in the GWFreaks XML format

Feature exists already. Take your template code and paste it into the edit box under your energy bar and volia, your skills are good to go (As well as attributes)

I'm not sure if this is the problem, but keep in mind that GW has changed their template code system.

Previously all template codes started with an "A". GW changed their template code system and now all templates begin with an "O". The last information I had was that the "O" template code had not been deciphered yet. Therefore GWFreaks (nor any other software) could create valid "O" templates. All they could do was export "A" templates which the game would automatically convert. The programs could not accept "O" template codes because their is no way to convert the codes back into skill bar and skill attribute settings.

(However, for any old "A" template codes, the method mentioned is correct and will work. Simply select an unused character slot, highlight the existing character template code on the Current Tab, paste the code into the field (replacing whatever was there). The various skill bar and skill attribute settings will be changed accordingly.)

I hope you will decipher & fix this flaw.
Impossible now to make bbCode out of my most recent builds (finalized inGame, so they dont work with GWFreaks anymore!).

EDIT: A german Fansite solved this. PLEASE make O-templates work again soon!
Look, they got it:

Having a web page that can decode the template doesn't tell me how to decode it.

I would need the algorith explain or a code sample (in any languages).
