Hmm,

     Guess my computer is more forgiving than yours

Here, try putting this modified version of the ConditionDesc.xml in your GWFreaks\XML folder.

Loky,

1st make sure that you've named it "ConditionDesc.xml" not "Condition.Desc.xml", and also it would be beneficial if you could post the initial error in the "trace.log" like k4rn4k did.

Thanks,

Undead Priest

Hi,

I installed the soft, and in the first run I have the same problem. I found in the xml files some errors with this
HealthLost property, the files are:
under xml folder: Condition.xml (property not defined), ConditionDesc.xml (imcomplety), CharacterStateDesc.xml (property not defined), CharacterState.xml (property not defined)
under lang\Español\ folder: ConditionDesc.xml (imcomplety), CharacterStateDesc.xml (imcomplety)

I don't know if it is correct in all files in other languages, I try to changes this files to complete but the error appear again.

Hi Jintoua,

Nice job tracking that down, but allow me to explain the error completely. This problem (Which was corrected in an update to the download yesterday around noon PST) was actually not that the HealthLost wasn't found, but that it was found at all.

The lines

<ConditionDesc>
    <Type>HealthLost</Type>
</ConditionDesc>

had been accidentally left in the ConditionDesc.XML file, and on some computers this caused the program to fail to start. So if you encounter this error, you can either

  1. Remove the lines yourself.
  2. Replace your current ConditionDesc.xml file with the file I posted above.
  3. Zyo has updated the download so now if you download the install program again it will give you the XML file without those erroneous lines.

Thanks, ~Undead Priest.

Hi,
I had the same error than Loki and Jintua
After ConditionDesc.xml change the error still appear
So i changed ConditionDesc.xml and CharacterStateDesc.xml and remove all line with HealthLost in my language and i delete others language (or you can do the same work with other language )

So the error is on the follow files:
.../xml/ConditionDesc.xml
.../lang/(anylanguage)/ConditionDesc.xml
.../lang/(anylanguage)/CharacterStateDesc.xml

Hi and thanks for your great tool.

I downloaded gwfreaks today, installed it in French and the error was still there. I modified the xml files and now everything is fine.

Just to say that the file to download is still not corrected.
