| | The question has been ask Fredrik in Swedish, I put into a separated thread because it will impact a lots of user. It's interesting to see what can and cannot be translated into something not supported in the game. As for the interface, most of the term can be translated easy. Tricky part comme with in game stuff. Translating the Skill For example our Polish friend Draghmar was the first to translate the GWFreaks skill back in early July 2005. After full translation we both realized that for the user this is not the best since they can't match the text with the game. But I think that, with some reserved, the Skill Description (not the skill Title) could be in some way translated. I'm French so I will make my example is French, all important Guild Wars specific words remain in English. With the Maligor Patch 2.1.3 they will have capital letter like they do in the game. Contemplation of Purity Lose all Enchantments. For each one lost, you gain 6..65 Health, lose one Hex and lose one Condition. could be translated to. Contemplation of Purity Perd tous ses Enchantments. Pour chaque point perdu, vous gagnez 6..65 Health, vous perdez un Hex et une Condition. Translating the Place I would vote a big no on this, it's pointless and will create huge confusion... let them in English. Translating the Class, Attribute I would translate only the description to explain what they doing... Monk stay a Monk, but can tell what a Monk is in your language. Is that making sense or I'm way out for non supported language translation?

| Hmm...Maybe this would be better?
Contemplation of Purity (Kontemplacja Czystości)
Tracisz wszystkie zaklęcia (enchantments). Za każdy stracony otrzymujesz 6-65 życia, tracisz jedno przekleństwo (hex) i jednen stan (condition).
I don't think that we need to translate words like health...everyone knows what is it.
Translating the Class, Attribute
I don't think that we should leave names. On our site there is translation of all classes and attributes in same way as above. For example:
Monk (Mnich)
Blood Magic (Magia Krwi)
"...On this kind of night, I crave for blood..." |

| | Have both in the same would create problem in the Interface, everything is pretty much count and having to get double size title would just overlap everywhere... If they aren't translated you read the English version then?

| But there is small problem...Sweden has higher lvl of english then Poland .
On our site we have to translate almost everything that AN put on thier site...interviews, updates, etc.
That's why i think it is better to translate names...hmm...Maybe there could be some button or checkbox that could change names of skills and other from english to not supported language?

| | Did you try the Beta?? switching from a lang to another is also instantaniously... and we try to make stuff not reloading as much as possible. Maybe the user could just flip. About translating the title, that could be usefull I agree, but when they in-game how they know what skill they want? And does the title of the skill really help the user? I could use the skill "ABC", without knowing what ABC means if the description is translated that should be ok.

| I know about switching. But that's not the point. Of course we could leave titles and propably noone even noticed it...But it looks better when we could read it in our language .
Is this really so problematic to add this into program? Because if it is then there's no point of wasting time for this...But if not?
